From the Edge of Wakefulness

Wedding: Cheltenham & Kingscote Barn, 21/11/09

This post has been republished for technical reasons; apologies if you’ve seen it before.

It rained all day from the moment the bride left the house to the end of the reception so I was working with winter November indoor light both in the church and at the reception. For this reason I think this set stands out as a good example of what I can achieve at a winter wedding.

I’ve recently converted to the new E-TTL versions of the pocketwizard off-camera wireless flash system and this has helped so much particularly for parts of the day such as the speeches and the first dance. But most of the time I’m working with fast L-series lenses and the fabulous low-noise capabilities of the Canon 5D Mark II.

See my portfolio for more examples of my wedding photography and how you can book me for future weddings and events.
